Meaning that we had to deliver a product that will met Microsofts list of requirements and standards. We wanted the feeling of the 40’s combined with old acient technology. To make the player’s airplane distinct from the enemies, we choose to have a classical airplanelook in the silhouette with a more colorful texture palette. The enemies have darker color palette with one or two string colors. The design is made to look like ancient machinery insect but with a futuristic design and effects.
